We are so proud to share this recent work created for the Helen Woodward Animal Center, under the direction of our long time client, Ms. Esther LaPorta. We were asked to develop an identity along with a series of print collateral materials for the HWAC Capital Campaign.
Working closely with the development team, leadership and dedicated troupe of volunteers, we discovered that the care and protection of animals and the need to inform the public were their key objectives. The design system created champions the important relationships between humans and animals, the circle motif represents the interconnectivity of the important work being done on behalf of animals locally, regionally, nationally and now globally by the folks at HWAC.
The image above illustrates a super smart development brochure design, which includes individual pages, bound together with a giant rubber band. The design enables the HWAC development team to update the piece as the capital campaign progresses, in a cost efficient, creative way. Contents include rough floor plans and renderings depicting the proposed facilities. It's not a slick, finished beauty book, but rather an interactive "workbook" used by the team with potential donors, allowing donors to play a part in the planning and design of the proposed new facilities.
We designed a small "campaign at-a-glance" brochure as well as a series of note cards to be used as invitation shells, thank you cards and gift cards as well as redesigned the existing program brochure - smart economical solutions, ensuring a strong visual identity!
