New, colorful, wayfinding signage system for the MGM Grand Las Vegas. This was a wonderful project for the Visual Asylum team, just the sort of challenge we love, work within
a budget, maximize customer experience and solve complex communication problems! These signs are artfully created using custom created mosaic tiles blends, and state of the art materials, they are both aesthetically pleasing as well as designed to hold up to the intense sun, wind and public interaction.
The system includes 40+ signs. A giant monolithic sign greets all upon entry into the lush 5-acre pool grounds. The "Grand Pool" includes 5 pools and 3 spas along with many bar and restaurant venues. This creative wayfinding system included a multitude of sign types, from freestanding directional and pool and spa identity signs, to wall mounted directionals, and informational signs. The design solution offers a system of color coding each pool area making it easy for guests to find each pool, enhancing their experience and stay at the MGM GRAND.
